Psalm 25:1:“Lord, I give myself to You.” NCV

What does it mean to truly give? I ask myself this question every day.It’s more than just time, effort, prayer, or finances. In the Bible, the Lord instructs us to cultivate a lifestyle of giving. It is our purpose for being here. Second Corinthians 4:7 says that we are to realize that we are vessels for God’s work and to understand that we can do nothing apart from God’s power working within us. The purpose that God has for our life comes when our foundation is based on living to give.

At Church On The Rock, our Mission Statement is to win the lost, train them to have a solid foundation in their spiritual life and equip them for ministry, then finally to send them out to do great exploits in their world. The Midwest Movement believes that giving shouldn’t be just an act, but a lifestyle. Our goal is to help develop each student’s talents and abilities and spark a passion for who they are in Christ and what they can do with Christ in their world.
